Wrong. To take one obvious example:

Can you point out any mainstream media source - newspaper, TV, radio, anything - that pointed out the silliness of Thomas Friedman's story about the Saudi peace proposal? Who has pointed out that this proposal is not something new, as he characterized it, but rather is the standing offer the Arab world has been making to Israel for several decades? In fact, just go to one of the serious SI discussion threads, like Foreign Affairs, and try to find someone who has made this point. All you will find is the Israeli perspective, that this is either an intriguing new offer or a deceitful trick.
