CTAC will fill an expired prescription. They have changed brands on patients (told them over the phone that they will fit better). I have had a patient who developed a corneal ulcer from a lens prescribed over the phone by CTAC. Another patient who developed a red eye from wearing color contact prescribed by CTAC. COntact lenses are medical devices as descrbed by the FDA and must be evaluated on the eye. That is why eye docs have a problem with them. It is not based on price. My office beats CTAC on price with every lens available. Loser is the consumer who loses an eye from a corneal ulcer!!!!! eyebalz
