Funny, I always thought that tradition was just one of the key aspects of what was conservative about conservatism. The absence of free-market riffs is telling.

Say, Neo, how do you think your essay on conservatism might be different if you had attended a different college, one that didn't focus on Western tradition? That must have been a huge influence.
