I think maybe you should keep the hair. The Himilayas are pretty cold.

Jane,

Have fun, the Jeep should bring in enough to cover your retirement costs in Nepal. Please get out of Kathmandu as soon as possible and go to Mustang! There are communist rebels in the major cities and lots of trouble there too! I feel very bad to have to bring this bad news, I dearly wish it were not true. One day I had hoped to be the chief guru of the Shiva temple in Darbar square, but it seems that now those dreams are dashed.

Jane, no kidding, this thread has become very depressing to read. I've been an 'on & off' lurker for quite some time, but, now feel it's probably a good idea to stay away for a while .....due to the effect it's having on my health ;-)

I am now selling the house, closing down the business, parting out my Jeep, shaving my hair, gathering my cash and making out for the Himilayas where I figure I would be safe from the Earth caving in.

I think you're realllllllly over-reacting Jane ........

you don't need to shave your hair.

lol
