Really? the truth is that right after the six day war, in 1967, Israel offered the Arabs to give back all the territories they lost for a recognition of Israel's right to exist and a comprehensive piece treaty that would normalize relationships in the middle east. The same Arab League you refer to met in Chartum, Sudan and proclaimed the famous Three No's:
No to recognizing Israel right to exist
No to signing a piece treaty with Israel
No to any commercial ties with Israel

In addition, the same AL had ostracized Egypt for 10 years following the piece treaty President Sadat signed with Israel.
