Another demolib pinhead distortion. McConnell like many conservatives is not a "supporter of flag burning". He supports the notion that there are certain forms of expression which it does not behoove us to regulate and which our Constitution protects though distasteful. There is a wide range of opinion among conservatives on this issue. I find in my own experience that the bulk of those who support anti-desecration measures have served in the military usually under fire. I think there is understandably something special about our national symbol to those who our country has put in harm's way.......
