Polvs, mamma bluebird laid 5 eggs. So far, so good. No snakes seen yet.

We put out some chemical that is suppose to help keep the snakes away.

My youngest son built two more bluebird houses and we put those out recently. Nothing in them yet.

We check the eggs every day. The other night it was stormy and raining and I was concerned the wind had blown open the roof, which is hinged so we can look in there. I tried shinning a light out in the front where the house is but just couldn't see clear enough, so I finally had to run out there in the rain and check it. It was ok and mamma bluebird just looked through the hole at me like I was nuts being out in that rain when I shinned the flashlight in there.
