Werner von Braun and his compatriots, who were reassembled in Huntville, Ala, did contribute much to our ICBM development. In fact, you will recall, that our first satellite was launched on von Braun's Jupiter missile after a couple of failures by the Navy's Vanguard. But since we already had nukes, ie the bomb, how could we have gotten the technology from them?
