Obviously not to you. But someone, over there, is probably saying the same thing about the Western people who follow Western philosophy. It is easy to minimize what you aren't brought up with, can only read in translated editions, and don't really understand at the level that a student of it would. You have studied Western civ primarily (I hope you will agree) and been acculturated into Western Civilization.
