personally, I think Arafat is a done deal and needs to be removed from his position. At that hope, hopefully someone can take over who really wants peace and a new state for the Palestinians.
I agree with that but, unfortunately, it is not as simple as that. The whatever new palestinian government would be they would have to make peace with arabs(iraq and such) as well as Israel and those two might be contradictory if US and Israel would avoid taking military actions when needed.
