World Wise increases Downsview production

Thu 11 Apr 2002

News Release

Mr. Michael McLaren reports

WORLD WISE TECHNOLOGIES- PRESIDENTIAL UPDATE
Product output at the Downsview plant has increased over 50 per cent from
the month of February to March, 2002. Contributing factors include the
addition of a second shift, as well as strengthening product orders with
long-standing clients. The production increase at Acutec confirms solid
progress toward that division's intermediate term objective of $100,000 per
month in gross sales. The engineering staff is nearing completion of the
fuzzy logic control panel and monitor, which will help increase the run
rate of one production line.
Talks continue on new business opportunities for the Acutec facility. In
conjunction with the advances on the automation retrofitting, and
anticipated increases in volume from existing product lines, a third shift
is now in the planning process. As its stated objective, management
continues to target areas that increase cash flow on existing assets,
providing the cash necessary for future growth.
Finally, KPMG is in the process of finalizing the annual audit, and
management anticipates meeting the Ontario Securities Commission filing
deadline. World Wise's new management team remains committed to regular
dialogue with all stakeholders.
