>Z, they are there......the Madeleine Albrights, the Colin Powells, the Palestinian and Israeli scholars and religious leaders but its hard to hear them or they get discredited or both. I do not see any Palestinian or Arab leaders going on TV and condeming suicide bombings. >Besides, the most aggressive among us don't want to hear them because they then would have to work at this peace thing. Ted, Besides, the most aggressive among us don't want to hear them because they then would have to work at this peace thing. Sometimes, even when you have the best intention, things can fail. Like the other day, on the Eve of the US - Canada peace negotiations, the Canadian side partied late, and overslept the next morning, failing to appear at peace negotiations. They had the best intentions to work on this peace thing, but an unexpected series of events prevented them from doing so. As a result, the tensions grew at the Vermont - Quebec border. The National guard of Vermont was put on high alert, after a group of Canadians was seen near the border with armed with hockey sticks and pucks. And all because of not working on this peace thing.
