To a point yes, but I would draw that line very liberally. I don't even mind aggression and condescension, as long as they are presented with wit and style, which unfortunately is rarely the case. This is supposed to be a free-for-all, is it not? If someone feels chopped at, they should chop right back, not cry "foul". I'd also suggest that individuals who feel that attacks on their ideas are attacks on them might be well advised to stay away from this place.
