there are all types of people who hang out here: conservative and liberal, thin-skinned and thick-skinned, etc. All well and good, but should the thin-skinned be permitted to revise the thread rules for their own protection? This is a boxing ring, no? If people come along who don't like boxing, should they try to turn the boxing ring into a knitting society or should they go on a thread with rules that fit their inclinations? I mean no slight to anyone by saying it, not even Neo, but the nature of a boxing ring is that fists fly and people get punched. That's something we accept when we get in the ring.
