Sharon a terrorist? You're joking, right? This is an area where I'm in agreement with or to the right of Bush. The Arab terrorists are an insidious bunch of lying killers and they have a plan to take over by using our liberalism against us. Every peace accord has been shattered by sudden rashes of terrorist bombings. If I were Sharon I'd ignore the US and clean house for good. Because every terrorist they leave alive will come back to kill. And the terrorists are NOT interested in pece. Furthermore, Arafat cannot stop them even if he wants to, which he apparently doesn't. The Arab-Palestinian cause has lost all credibility with me. I am no Israel lover but they are doing their best now to defend themselves.

Dear Rich: I can understand why you say that but IMHO Sharon is not a Terrorist. Rather I think he is a throwback to the Cold War Warrior mentality. His desire to "clean out" the terrorists is understandable BUT when he went into Bethlehem, shot up the Church of the Nativity (PRIESTS on the scene say BOTH sides guilty even though Israel denies it) he lost my support. Can you IMAGIN what would happen if the USA went and SHOT UP MECCA or the WAILING WALL? The whole world would go banannas. IMHO the ONLY way to stop terrorism is for Israel to go back to its pre 1967 borders and eliminate the illegal settlements they have been building on Palistinian land THEN if terrorists continued to be a problem Israel would have the sympathy and support of the whole world, PLUS the money they are spending on troops to invade Palistine could easily be used to put up a wall around Israel proper and check everyone coming and going. Now, IMHO this isnt going to happen, thus terrorism isnt going to cease and the USA is being pulled into the Cesspool and likely will end up bearing the brunt of the cost and eventually the enimity of both sides. To me its a lose lose situation for us and I hate it. JDN
