I agree to the extent that I'm not comfortable commenting on the wisdom of the investment either. It's not that I dislike this company (or even the sector). It's just that I don't know near enough about the company or its management/executives to be comfortable with owning it.

I think my analysis is mostly correct. Biotechs tend to put on a lot of road shows, under the guise of attending conferences. Sort of like killing two birds with one stone, in this case the expenses associated with traveling. Biotechs, especially young ones, are notorious for raising additional capital in this manner. And combined with the European propensity for biotech investments and the recent conference in Europe, it's not a difficult leap...
