It appears to me that any agreement you and Neo reached may bind you and Neo, but it cannot bind anyone else because we are not parties to it. It never occurred to me for a moment that the agreement extended beyond Neo and me. I've been talking it up but don't seem to have persuaded anyone although I've scored a few points here and there. X seems predisposed to be sympathetic, but it doesn't seem that anyone else is. I still think it was a good exercise. I learned a lot. Hopefully, Neo did, too. And maybe some others who were watching. I think it's a subject that needs to be discussed just as religion is a subject that needs to be discussed.
