sorry but best intentions is not an excuse. People are dying in the middle-east while Andreas is passing his judgement. It is very sobering to hear some of the Andreas thoughts.

Albert, I still think you are misunderstanding Andreas. He is not judging but I think he is trying to present alternative solutions. However, I will leave it to him to tell you what he thinks.

Either you want to misunderstand my posts intentionally or you are so emotionally attached to the mid east situation that it is difficult for you to remain fair towards both sides. It's probably the latter since you are an American Jew (correct me if I am wrong) and I can understand your reaction. But that doesn't change the fact that both Palestinians and Israelis are guilty in the current conflict. IMO there isn't an easy solution, and "hawkish" approaches will certainly not help in the long run. They haven't worked for 50 years, why should they work now? Only a joined US and Arab peace effort has the prospects of success IMO.
