He is very intelligent but he intentionally lies to his followers

They all lie.

There is no truth in any of it, except this: believe no one, demand disclosure and follow the money.

The fanatics will immediately stop being fanatics if no one supports them, trains them, pays off their families they leave behind.

The rest of their insane arguments can only be solved them them - neither the US nor anyone else can solve it for them.
The best we can do is stop supporting one side, then the other, or, as we are doing now, supporting both sides with petrodollars, direct aid and military force.

That route guarantees two things (1)escalating and continuing warfare, and (2)an unlimited number of excuses by those who profit politically and financially, through media outlets and think tanks, as to why it should continue.

None of them are telling any relevant truth. Their goal, when boiled down and tested philosophically and practically becomes one of simply continuing the flow of cash from US taxpayers' pockets through warfare and foreigh "aid" to the middlemen, warlords, commercial interests and politicians who profit.

The American people know this, and only a small minority supports all this insane military and monetary intervention, which essentially amounts to self-important political leaders playing Geopolitical Nintendo. It will continue until they are fired, or the populace gets disgusted.

Any terrorism in the US, whether "blowback" caused by US CIA warlords or by other terrorists can best be defended here at home by a thoroughly organized homeland defense neighborhood by neighborhood. That is where our dollars and fully-disclosed focus should be.
