It is amazing how this "kid" out of Texas has done so well. I am still amazed at how well Dell is doing in the consumer space. Their machines are more expensive than just about any brand you can get at Best Buy with the exception of Sony. I always thought that they would have to find a way back into the retail space to do well in the consumer market. Looks like I was wrong.

Went to dinner with friends tonight .... in our discussion HWP & CPQ came up .... they own HWP .... I asked how they voted on the merger .... they said they voted against it .... I asked why ?? .... they said that since 'old' Hewlett was against it that they were .... I asked what they knew about the merger .... they said basically nothing .... just trusted Hewlett

How many others just blindly 'trusted' WW Hewlett ?
