Monty

Good of you to take time away from your busy schedule and drop in.

Just checked today’s scores and see your guy ballooned to a 75.

Not good for moving day.

Well at least you finally made a cut after quite a dry spell.

Been 6 months or so since you made weekend play has it not.

Most courses don’t favor a fader but keep plugging away.

Heck you might even make it into the top 50 in some future event.

I won’t keep you any longer as I know you need to get an early start checking pin placements, yardage, club count, etc.:)

Cheers

Ed

Yeah, Bambs has been right so far, but not about inflation. So far there doesn't seem to be any. And now the Fed has room to fight it if it does show it's ugly head. I suspected that the rapidity with which the market deteriorated could be a harbinger of how quickly it can recover. I wonder if that is a possibility? The only thing that has me worried is this whole Middle East thing. If it wasn't for that, I'd be saying I think Bambs is wrong about gold. However, given that it looks like we are hell bent on taking Saddam out and it looks like the only way to do that may be full scale war, which will potentially result in an external oil shock given that the Arab League may decide to boycott sales to the U.S. or some other such nonesense which will raise oil prices further, then given that, gold is looking pretty good to me too now. Still haven't pulled the trigger, but am thinking about taking a small position in some gold fund. It's just been anathema to me for so long, I can't get myself to do it.

That was a great link to choose John. Gotta love the 3 replys to it.

LOL! A person could probably do real well just searching SI for posters formerly known as "thread morons" and taking their advice!!<g>
