I venture to add that in the years ahead, the people to watch are those formerly derogatorily known as "Chinks" or "Chinamen". A lot of simple manufacturing activities have been assigned to them and, to be sure, like the Japanese, they will "learn" very fast. They have already emerged from their coccoon and are learning American English with an enthusiasm that put many learners elsewhere to shame. Already they have made much headway in their efforts to explore Space --- the so-called "Last Frontier."
