bwdyk? plenty, usually. I think that we'll be able to see it immediately, that certain issues will break away a bit. haven't a clue which. So, the rumor is members-only-for-the-abstracts again, huh? I hate Reg FD. And the big short boutiques are spending research bucks. I am under informed. The old playing field felt more level, to me. You found a good analyst (not necessarily defined in the traditional "investment bank" context) for a given issue, and that gave you insights. Those insights led to research, and one could get a better angle on projects than the next guy. Repeat process a few times, and pretty soon you've got a good view of the company. Or maybe I've just gotten lazy.
