... "why, that sounds like ... nah ... couldn't be", muttered Stuffy.

Bugs Pond (our hero!) turned around to glare at Stuffy. "Don't hold out on me, wise guy. What does that sound like?"

Stuffy swallowed hard, diverted his eyes away from Bugs' piercing glare, and said ...

"That sounds just like the whine that I heard when my recovery company was commissioned to recover that big metal thing from near Roswell, New Mexico".

"Big metal thing?", asked Bugs.

"Yeah, you know. Like a ... a ...". Stuffy's voice tailed away.

"Spit it out man! Like a what?", screamed Bugs.

"Like a flying saucer!", replied Stuffy.

Bugs was startled. A flying saucer? He'd heard about them, but never in all his super-hero episodes had he encountered one before.

Now, why would a flying saucer be in the 2nd floor of a hospital?

Bugs tried to open the stairwell door, but couldn't. The big red sign said "Admittance by authorized personnel only".

Bugs snickered. "I'll show *them* who's authorized!", he muttered.

He reached into his super-hero pouch and pulled out his handy-dandy ....
