The best example of the synergy between 3G and 802.11b is given by that bus at UCSD in which the data connection is delivered to the bus by EVDO and then distributed throughout the bus using WiLAN. 3G solves the "last mile" problem, but leave it to WiLAN to solve the last 100 feet problem. Actually, in my experience, make that last 30 ft problem (which is totally sufficient for a bus, don't get me wrong...)
