Mani, here's my problem. I don't know anything about the Koran except what others tell me. Sound bytes, SI posts, newspapers, you name it. But as a Christian, I do know that the words of the Bible have often been taken out-of-context and twisted by those who have sinful agendas. It's likely that the Koran is being twisted in a similar fashion.

All I know right now is that the suicide bombings are wrong, wrong, wrong. And what I perceive is a lack of opposition from other Muslims. Most of the Muslims I hear on the media always say, "Yes we oppose terrorism," but then they quickly shift the focus toward Israel's so-called "state-supported terrorism." (Must be that Jew-controlled media, no? Just kidding.)

Just like it doesn't help the Catholic church to avoid the problem of pedophilia, neither does it help Muslims to avoid the problem of terrorism. If Islam preaches against terrorism, now is the time for Muslims to take a strong stance against it.
