I only mention it because Bamford went into great detail on recently-released transcripts and documents of the '67 war, and how it started. Including the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, which the Israelis claimed one thing, and some US military officers have claimed was due to Elint picked up on Israeli war crimes. Bamford is worth reading, carefully documents everything, and restrains himself from conclusion, for the most part. The conclusions he does come to aren't pretty, but he is a champion of openness and the good folks in the intel community, and an opponent of the psychopaths in the leadership who will destroy their careful work. My kind of guy.
