Iraq suspending oil exports to protest Israeli invasion

By Reuters

BAGHDAD - Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein said Monday that Iraq will suspend its oil exports for one month in protest of Israel's invasion of Palestinian areas on the West Bank.

"The Revolutionary Command Council, the Iraqi leadership of the Baath party and the Iraqi cabinet during a meeting on April 8, declared the complete stoppage of oil exports starting from this afternoon, April 8 through the pipeline to the Turkish port on the Mediterranean and our ports in Basrah for a period of 30 days," the Iraqi President said in a live speech broadcast by Iraqi television and radio.

Saddam said that after 30 days, "we will further decide or
until the Zionist entity's (Israel) armed forces have unconditionally withdrawn from the Plestinian territories."

Iraqi Oil Minister, Amir Muhammed Rasheed said that the suspension of
Iraq's exports of about two million barrels per day, about four percent of international oil trade, from Gulf and Turkish ports was implemented at 1000 GMT on Monday.

The whole world tells Israel to withdraw.
So does Saddam, Khaddafi, Assad, all Mullahs and Ayatollas.

Even Bush, and Blair... but they are not in a hurry,
for they are the ONES who fight the Bull.
