Microsoft Gold Certified Partner certification is awarded to service providers that are committed to high levels of customer satisfaction, validating the effectiveness, manageability, security and value of services. The certification process involved an on-site review of Digex facilities and an acceptance review from Microsoft's Certification Advisory Board. Criteria for evaluation included customer satisfaction, service level management, scalability, engineering services, maturity of operations environment, change management, configuration management, security, data protection, disaster recovery planning and many measurement areas.
Compaq SP Signature certification aids enterprises in identifying service providers that are best equipped to meet their toughest e-business challenges. Criteria include a complete end-to-end service examination and assessment of service management maturity across six domains of availability: IT service management, network, application and database, system software, hardware and environment. The on-site evaluation reviewed each of these domains in detail to ensure that Digex delivers service in accordance with the highest standards of industry practice.
Digex engineers have approximately 200 Microsoft and Compaq certifications in areas such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Compaq Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) and many others. Over the last six years, Digex has built and administered thousands of servers using Microsoft and Compaq technologies.
