jj, as a rule I don't pay too much attention to the early put/call numbers in the AM, as they are on low volume and can be swayed by some big positions. Anything 11:00 and after counts more for me.

Intra day put/call is helpful after that time, but the closing put/call is probably the best measure to use as one of your T/A tools in your T/A toolbox.
