AMAT LT sold at 52.19, my entire remaining position (bought 9/01 at 27.5). I'm out, and thinking about shorting. Will certainly short at 55, may short below there.

I'm uncomfortable with the political/military situation, I see a probability of more shocks, more disappointment, so I've been raising cash the last couple of weeks, selling large positions in AMAT, CCL, CMH, CSCO (all bought in the 9/01 and/or 2/02 dips, all sells are profitable).

I don't see any way the Powell mission to Israel succeeds. I predict the Israelis keep killing Palestinians until Powell gets to Israel. Then they stop during the visit. But Hamas will continue sending suicide bombers every day, through the mission, sabotaging it. As soon as Powell goes home, the Israelis re-enter Palestinian areas. So, I'm in "raise cash" mode. As of today, I'd estimate a >50% chance of retesting the 9/01 lows, in April or May.
