I never said we should not question what our grandfather's believed. I have questioned what our grandfather's believed. Why do you persist in attributing to me things that are not true of my position, or of anything I have written? I made a comment about not being unnecessarily coercive or dismissive of the beliefs or others, because it would generally cause an unproductive backlash. I noted that attacks on entrenched beliefs was sometimes unavoidable, but suggested that more temperate criticism was preferable, if possible. I told you, this is not about me, I will not make it about me, especially when it is so hopeless, and will only invite further crap. I will say that if you are trying to get me to give up on the thread, you are doing a good job, by the way..........
