Hi Chris,

I do not know anything about Austen as her work never interested me, therefore I never followed up on her.

As to Hemingway, I fleetingly thought of him, but I read a biography years ago and became a little disillusioned about his early life experiences. I think he got better about getting "out there" later in life..BTW, I did like "For Whom the Bell Tolls".

I am not certain if he ever "ran with the bulls", not that it matters.. But I believe he was a good self-promoter.
He hung with interesting people, I am sure..
