re: So IMO instead of labelling these persons "evil" we have to think about why they act and think the way they do and how we can help them change their way of thinking.

that said it all, no need for farther explanation.

Andreas, <It very convenient and easy to split the world in two different sides -- good and evil -- but that's not how thing work in reality.>

Actually, that's exactly how things work in reality. The shades of grey arise because people these days don't want to believe in anything absolute. It's all relative, or so you like to believe.

Once again, I guarantee you that the terrorists don't believe in shades of grey, and they won't be swayed by those who do. You want to figure out why they act and think the way they do? Try breaking out of your notion that everything is gray, and you'll start to understand why the terrorists are so determined and how they are so successful at what they do.

>Only serious peace efforts between Israel, the Palestinians and the Arabs could provide a long term solution IMO. The Saudi’s peace proposal is a good step in the right direction IMO and I hope that Powell will pick up on it on his mid east mission.

And what if the Arabs won't negotiate on the Right of Return, which it really seems they won't?
