Nevertheless, I am disappointed to have inadvertently mischaracterized you as a fundamental conservative. I certainly had the best of reasons for considering your conservatism to epitomize the most traditional, pious, and hallowed aspects of conservatism; and I found no incongruity in referring to this as fundamentalist. However, I naturally accept the fact that my mistaken characterization was met by an innocent and understandable ignorance, and I beg your pardon...
