Jon, Re: Absolutely no way that AMD can break even in Q2 - warning will come during Q1 conference call.

Probably. That's why I sold today my AMD position at $13.62. Now you know why the stock closed on the day's high. <g> I hope there will be a better buying opportunity in the $10 range in Q2.

Economy recovery, mobiles much larger part of AMD's mix (why do you think INTC flip-flopped on their p4 desktop chip for mobiles???).T-bred arrival and ClawHammer on the horizon...Much, much too early to be absolutely certain about q2 anything!!!

Actually ASPs are much better than they were in Q3, 2001, still probably in the high 80s. The major risk factor is not the low ASP, but the 130nm transition slip. FASL break up, liabilities and litigation are also on my radar screen. I have no data to support either, but unfortunately can't afford to discount the possibility.
