I started to take it but it is sortof long, and some of the questions seem biased.

For example - "If globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations. "

Most people who talk like that tend to mean that serving the interest of corperations is against the interest of humanity but frequently it is not so, esp. if serving the interest of the corperations really just means letting them be free to conduct their business.

Andreas, <How can I contradict that since you are debating from a superior position and know the absolute meaning of rightness and truth?>

At least I've chosen something to believe in.

You seem to as well, given that you seem absolutely sure that there are no moral absolutes. ;-)

Personally I scored this way:

Economic Left/Right: 1.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.08

It should be a real eye-opener for you.

Andreas, that's an evil test. Thanks for sharing.

I scored

Economic Left/Right: 4.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.41

Tim

Edit - Not as libertarian as I thought. I also find it odd the Tony Blair is considered "Authoritarian Right".

Andreas, Thanks for the test link. My scores (approx):

Economic Left/Right: -0.12
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.96

The former was a bit of a surprise but I know I have a wide range of opinions along this axis. The latter wasn't much of a surprise.

Andreas,

There should be a choice "this question is too stupid and none of the answers represent my point of view" to separate your true feelings from the obligation to answer the question. How does the site distinguish between the 2? I guess one way is that you will probably not answer "Strongly" agree or disagree, but that devalues other questions, to which I really mildly agreed or disagreed.

Joe

PS: My score was
Economic Left/Right 4.62 (meaning 4.62 to the right)
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -0.46 (slightly on the Libertarian side)
