"It would be educational to have access to the same model and supporting data afforded the Fed. I do not have direct knowledge of the Fed outlook for the economy."

Doesn't this drive you crazy? What is the meaning of democracy if we can't know the information that is used to run our economy? How can we as voters and citizens make informed choices about our leaders if they won't provide us with the most elementary knowledge about how they are making decisions and with what effect in mind?

The Fed is a fundamentally undemocratic institution that drives economic policy while refusing to be accountable to anyone. Why do we stand for this nonsense of 5 years of secrecy before revealing their deliberations? Is any one else allowed do his job that way? It is a blatant shelter for incompetence. Suffering the depredations of an unaccountable Fed is a form of taxation without representation.

Fed watching is no more than trying to analyze gossip from ladies in waiting to the Queen. It is demeaning to a free people who's birthright is self-determination.

Just say NO to the Fed.

Sorry for the rant. Sometimes you inspire me.
