"Clawhammer is fantastic - why I am still here."

Stock price is a function of discounted future earnings. q2 is important, but more important, by far, is tangible evidence of ClawHanmmer progress...

"Was absolutely excited to see Alchemy news today."

AMD is buying while INTC has to contend with that $5 billion goodwill wart on its books...Two companies headed in opposite directions...

"But do wonder about how Clawhammer will impact Q2? - it is a Q4 product at best."

Any positive "tangible" ClawHammer news reduces uncertainty and increases estimated current value of future earnings resulting in a strengthening AMD price...

"Q2 pricing will also collapse in mobile space. Only thing going would be new faster chips, which do not appear to be coming."

I wouldn't count on it...Economy recovering...T-bred A4 is imminent and may increase performance gap in AMD's favour...

"There really must be a stepping problem in Germany on 130 nm. No other conceivable answer. I believed AMD had a big surprise but as time goes by and no 130 nm, I am beginning to think the surprise is on them and Intel has won again."

AMD has its hands full meeting exploding market demand for mobiles is my guess...INTC loses bigtime money in q1 if the goodwill wart is factored in...Think the next 1000 days, not the next 1000 minutes...
