More on NWRE

Neoware Systems (NWRE: news, chart, profile) gained almost 19 percent after the King of Prussia, Pa., software firm said it expects revenue of more than $8 million in the third quarter. This performance, the company said, exceeds analyst estimates and represents more than 60 percent growth from the same period a year earlier. "We are seeing a positive reaction from customers to our alliance with IBM (IBM: news, chart, profile), and expect to begin ramping revenues from IBM and its customers in our fiscal fourth quarter ending June 30, 2002," said Michael Kantrowitz, the company's president and CEO, in a press release. "The strength of our IBM alliance, growth in our core software, appliance, and services business, plus our recent acquisition of the ThinSTAR product line are expected to continue to drive Neoware's growth in coming periods." Actual results are due before the opening bell on April 24.
