I mean at retail, does Compaq use the nForce logo? Not that the general public would understand it.

As far as the mobo using the 12v axilliary lines, this is not common is it?

I understand about the combined 3.3v and 5v wattage/amperage being the important factor.
Interesting that AMD has no recommended PSs less than 300 watts for a XP and Compaq uses 200 watts. Are you saying Compaq uses a motherboard that extracts the extra juice from the 12v line?
Hate to see what e-machines uses...
