Hey Victor, my nightmare scenario is that this turns into a larger conflagaration that includes Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and the Palestinians on one side and Israel and the US on the other. Then on top of that we have an oil shock. That will have a devastating effect on our stock market.

It's been going on since the Roman Legions did some ethnic cleansing in Israel, to clear out an inconvenient ethnic group (the Jews) in the first century. Not much chance Powell can solve the turf wars there.
