Does anyone on here attribute any significance to the fact that over the last year Bill Gates has sold more than $8.0 billion worth of his stock holdings at what appears to be an average price of around $60-65 per share. He was selling particularly heavily during February. This compares to his historic stock liquidation of around $2 billion per year. I would think that if he saw a lot of upside potential to his company he would hold for a better price instead of accelerating the selling. Or perhaps he sees this price as a good selling point considering the future. After what went on at Enron, I really think that insider selling is something we should never ignore. Especially if you hold long positions.
