Having worked for one of the largest W.S firms, as a broker in the 70s and early 80s, made it a habit long ago to use their "sell side" analysts as contrary indicators when I bother to read them at all.

In recent years, of course, that's only in the rare instance when I run out of good ones on certain other SI threads.<ggg>
