No doubt Bush Sr screwed up in Iraq. We should have taken out Saddam without help form the Kurds or our "allies".... But the suggestions by antiAmerican Taliban types like Chrissy poo and Dumper that our CIC (not his father by any menas) is incompetent, unintelligent, etc. (which are strictly at odds with the facts) are out of line in times of war while our fighting men are at risk. Period. End of discussion. They are scum. Clear enough? I'll bet neither one of them ever put on the uniform. JLA

Sir, the ability to admit that mistakes are made and the desire to correct them is the key to progress for individuals and societies. The inability to do so, is a guarantee for individual failure and an absolute corrupt society. I am glad you recognize the need to admit mistakes and am saddened that so many here think we the US are absolutely lilly pure white and sinless. And it is the people who must admit mistakes first because Government is reluctant to do so unless prodded.
