I thought internal users of IBM components were now treated just like external customers. In fact, I seem to recall reading that some of IBM's servers used Seagate drives as a result of that parity of treatment.

Of course, I would expect the component group's biggest "customer" to be the rest of IBM. So might not the weakness of the OEM business primarily reflect weakness in the rest of IBM's hardware business?

JMHO.
