There is a nation of Israel, but its contours appear to be in flux. Nation, or state? A nation is a group of individuals who share a common creed, culture, and/or language. A state is a geographic entity, within which many different nations can reside. cwis.org NATION A self-identifying people who share a common history, often language, a common culture and a homeland.
