I think there will have to be a lot of restructuring and redefining -- maybe along the lines of marriage as an option for parish priests, women priests, and similar.

Perhaps if priests confine their activities primarily to the sacraments and ceremonial functions while nuns, volunteers, and paid professionals do the ministering and the administrative functions there could be enough to go around.
