I also believe that bombing Jenin would be insane. It would be political suicide to indiscriminately bomb the city.

Note that US air operations targeted specific military targets, most away from population centers, or precision guided.

But cities on the West Bank are FAR to congested for such a bombing campaign to occur without causing tremendous collateral damage to civilians.

Nope... the Israelis are going to have to do this the "old fashioned way", house to house, block by block, also known by the acronym, MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain).
It is probably the deadliest type of fighting imaginable. But it's the only way to make sure the least number of "innocent" people are killed.
