OT OT: I only tried charter fishing once, 3 years ago at Ocean City, NJ with a cousin and her children. It was *horrible*: Drizzly day, *very* crowded boat, not one person even got a nibble. I'd like to give it another go with a _small_ group of people on a nice, warm, sunny day.

I occasionally do surf casting, but mostly I'm a small creek and stream fishing type. About 50:50 fly vs. spinning reel.

Catch and eat _not_ catch and release :)

CS First Boston said in an research note that "we believe these are 'clean' results, as there are no signs of product stuffing by Compaq in any of the major distribution channels."

On Jan. 25, Compaq boosted its earnings target for 2002 to 32 cents a share from a projected 25 cents citing increased demand for high-end products and services as well as cost cuts.

SG Cowen analyst Richard Chu said Compaq is benefiting from stabilization in the PC market, as well as more stable PC prices and low channel inventories. He was "mildly pleasantly surprised" by the upside announcement
